The final wave
Inspired by the beauty of the sea.
A personal favourite design I created years ago, revisited in my current frames, for the very last time.
Woven into the frame using the finest Egyptian cotton, then painted using a self-developed process. Hundreds of little embroidered french knots, creating the bubbles of the waves.
Woven by hand , using the traditional tabby weave. The frame is completely handmade in house... cut, drilled, scorched with a blow torch and finished with the highest attention to detail.
Weaving: Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified (no toxic chemicals),
100% Egyptian cotton.
Paint: Acrylic.
Solid Oak: Sustainably sourced & 100% FSC approved.
Wood finish: Yakisugi (scorched) & Eco friendly ‘Odies Oil’.
All my pieces arrive ready to hang, with special wall hooks supplied (you just need the correct wall plugs for your wall). I also include a Certificate of authenticity for each individual piece, signed & dated.
